To grow, we must move past what is comfortable.

Normally, we resist change because we sense an impending loss of control and uncertainty about the "what ifs" of the future. These "what ifs" can be positive, or negative. Typically, our mind gravitates toward the negative scenarios as a built in protective system. This fear is real. They even have a name for the fear of change: Metathesiophobia.
