Today I have a very special guest returning to the podcast: Dr. Erica Castleberry! Dr. Castleberry joins Fuel Her Awesome for a second time to continue our conversation about body image. Last time we chatted about the body image spectrum and coming to a place of "body neutrality". Today we finish the conversation by talking about body positivity!
What is body positivity and how do we get there?
Having a positive outlook on your body seems almost impossible at times, especially in our society. Today we are here to declare not only is it possible, but you can get there TODAY! Dr. Castlberry and I have 3 mindful exercises that you can practice to find that space of body positivity, and over time be able to have that self confidence that you've been seeking for (even when you don't love everything about your body).
Dr. Erica Castleberry is a psychologist and therapist, treating eating disorders, body image, anxiety, OCD, depression and interpersonal concerns for years.
